High-end kitchen
The family wanted to optimally connect the kitchen and living room as the central place in the house, without compromising on the original location and details.
Together with the structural engineer, we designed the steel structure and submitted the application for planning permission. We designed a new kitchen, which was then realised by interior designer and specialist Wood-Creations. In the design, we aimed for an optimal lighting design with colourful elements that hark back to the construction period of the house.
This created a unique bridge between the kitchen and the dining room, as well as between past and present. The kitchen is fully equipped, including an induction hob, underfloor heating, and a balanced & atmospheric lighting plan. As the ultimate nod, a marble floor slab from the vestibule has been incorporated into a splashback behind the coffee corner.
